ƱZ is an anonymous producer that has gained lots of attention on Soundcloud, which in today’s internet-driven world, is a big step towards success. ŤɌ∆Ҏ ᶊῌῗ† 6/9 is his first 4 track EP scheduled to be released for free on Jeffree’s / Mad Decent June 21st, joining the ranks of Baauer, Expendable Youth, Slick Shoota, Bro Safari, Zebra Katz plus many other up-and-comers. The EP will feature his two most recent Soundcloud bangers, ŤɌ∆Ҏ ᶊῌῗ† √6 and √7, plus two new beats numbering √8 and √9. What I believe draws people to ƱZ’s sound is his ability to incorporate classic – almost cliché – hip-hop samples seamlessly with modern synths and complex rhythms. His release could not come at a better time; it captures the essence of today’s desired sound and is a great example of how the internet allows bedroom producers to be heard (if it’s some good ᶊῌῗ†).
