Everybody knows that Australians go hard when it comes to moombahton, but unless you’ve been listening to The Mane Thing I don’t see how you could possibly appreciate just how impressive the scene down under is. With the release of their latest mixtape I thought it was time to do a more in-depth look into the duo.
This far into the development of electro and moombahton it’s hard to make heavy tracks without sounding old or wandering into dubstep territory, but these guys have produced some incredible big-room moombahton that avoids all the clichés and ear-aches that I’ve come to dread from so much music out there. Give their remix of “Too Fresh Hotel Party” a listen and I challenge you to find another track that samples so fluidly, or makes classic sounds seem new the way this one does. I hope you all listen to the tracks I have down below, and even more importantly I hope you love them as much as I do.

The Tracks That Won Me Over:
PS. When I got an email from these guys I thought they sounded familiar… then I realized that my electro idol, Herve, included him on his Cheap Thrills release “Ghetto Bass 2″… *swoon*
